This training is for staff who will be supporting Nursing learners, and counts as an NMC approved course to support learners on NMC registered courses (Pre registration Nurse training, SPQ District Nursing and Health visitor pathways).
If you are not a nurse you will not be able to act in the capacity as a Practice Assessor however the training will prepare you for the practice supervisor role.
- Staff who have undertaken the ENB 998 or mentorship preparation courses need to attend the session from 09:00 to 14:00.
- Staff who have already completed the Practice Supervisor Training need to attend the session from 11:30 to 14:00
- Staff who have not already completed one of the above courses will need to attend from 9:00 – 16:00.
All sessions will be held virtually via MS Teams – the link to join the session will be sent closer to the date.

- Assessing learning needs
- Assessing learning in Practice
- Giving feedback
- Coaching skills
