NEL Training Hub is your ‘go to’ place for any information about primary care workforce, education and development.
Training Hubs have developed effective, innovative educational and workforce initiatives for primary, community and social care since their inception in 2014. This ethos carries forward into the new Training Hub plans. Our plans moving forward includes as well as continuing our operation at borough level, connecting across our STP footprint, and nationally through NHSE WTE national training hubs.
The GP Care Group and Community Matters has been awarded the contract by NHS England to provide training and development for healthcare professionals across North East London, starting from 1 November 2024.
The two organisations have been working closely with partners in the local ICS to delivery high quality workforce programmes, including:
- Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programmes
- Recruitment support
- Staff wellbeing
- Enabling student placements
- Developing future educators.
The North East London Training Hub supports tens of thousands of health and social care workers across the North East London. Training hubs work closely with Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and ICSs to support workforce priorities and tackle health inequalities to help meet patient and population demand.
