Clinical Safety Officer Training

May 6 @ 9:30 am - 4:00 pm

Are you a clinician passionate about clinical safety?

Do you want to use digital AI tools safely?

Do you want to gain expertise within your PCN to approve digital tools?

Would you like to be the point of contact within your PCN as a trained CSO (Clinical Safety Officer)?

In collaboration with Accurx, we are pleased to announce that registrations for a free CSO training workshop are now open! Led by our very own Dr Osman Bhatti, the session will set out to enable practices and PCNs to use digital tools with confidence.

  • We are offering this funded training to one representative per PCN to ensure clinical safety expertise is distributed across the region. If your PCN already has a registered CSO you may not be eligible for this training.
  • Those who have already completed CSO training are not eligible to attend.

The course will include:

  • Pre-course e-learning module
  • Highly contextualised content for clinical safety governance in primary care
  • A system-wide view, not exclusively focused on Accurx
  • How to complete a clinical safety assessment for Accurx Scribe
  • Opportunity to join a WhatsApp community of CSOs for continued peer to peer support

Please note – In order to become a Clinical Safety Officer you must have:

  • Professional Registration with a current, valid registration with a UK professional regulatory body, such as the General Medical Council (GMC) or the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
  • Clinical Training & Experience in a clinical role relevant to the specific area of the digital systems you would be assessing
  • Confirmed Support from your PCN CD/NM

Accurx will cover the cost of the training session; however, this does not include travel expenses to the location.
