Workforce Development & Training Needs Analysis – “You Said, We Did”
NEL Training Hub annually carry out workforce development and training needs survey across General Practice, Social Care and the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector. The aim is to understand training priorities, development gaps and barriers to access, and to ensure our programmes are directly aligned to the needs of the workforce.
This page summarises what you told us and how we have responded through funded programmes, CPD, system-wide learning and online resources.
While some of the programmes listed on this page pre-date the 2025 survey, these reflect long-standing workforce priorities across North East London. The 2025 survey validated and refreshed these themes, reinforced the importance of continued investment in these areas, and is now directly informing future programme development, refresh cycles and commissioning decisions. This approach ensures continuity where priorities remain unchanged, while also enabling us to respond to emerging needs and gaps identified by the workforce.
