Session 4 – NEL: Lynch Syndrome & Setting up Nurse Led Clinics – REGISTER HERE
14 Mar 2026, 9:00am to 10:00am

This presentation outlines the development of Colorectal nurse‑led clinics for patients with Lynch syndrome at Barts Health. It will cover the rationale for the service, including improving access to surveillance, enhancing patient education, and delivering personalised care.

The session will describe the planning process, multidisciplinary collaboration, and required training, while also addressing challenges such as securing resources, establishing clear referral pathways, and aligning with governance requirements. Early outcomes, including patient feedback and service efficiencies, will be shared.

The presentation aims to inform and support other teams considering similar nurse‑led models for individuals with hereditary cancer syndromes.
