This two-day Programme aligns with Tier Two of the Dementia Training Standards Framework and is designed for social care staff, GPNs, AHPs and NAs, who provide support to patients within their practice.
This training builds essential knowledge, skills, and confidence to deliver high-quality, person-centred care grounded in current evidence-based practice. It introduces a deeper understanding of more complex presentations of dementia, enabling staff to recognise and respond effectively to a wide range of needs, behaviours, and communication differences.
Coverage of dementia risk reduction, identification, and diagnosis further supports staff to feel confident, empowered, and skilled to support all patients in their care. By completing this programme, participants will be better equipped to deliver evidence-based, compassionate, and informed care that enhances quality of life and well-being.
