Practical training designed to equip social care staff with the skills and confidence to safely support individuals with catheter care.
On completion of the course, you will be able to:

Understanding the different types of catheters: indwelling, intermittent, and suprapubic.

Familiarity with the anatomy relevant to catheter care.

Knowledge of infection control protocols in catheter care.

Recognising complications and knowing the appropriate interventions.

Knowledge of essential catheter care maintenance, including documentation
