To mark LGBTQ+ History Month NHS North East London is working with Switchboard, the national LGBTQIA+ support line, to deliver a lunch and learn training session on challenging bias and handling difficult conversations.

Since 1974, Switchboard have handled millions of conversations with people across the UK, talking about almost every topic imaginable. To facilitate these conversations they have honed their training around active listening, creating safe spaces and providing tangible skills to support people from many different backgrounds and experiences.The training session will outline some of the many forms of bias in the workplace, how to identify them, and how to challenge them in a safe, professional and mutually beneficial manner.
