This programme is ONLY open to Population Health Leads, Data Analysts, GPs, Practice Managers, Care Coordinators, reception and care navigation teams, administrative and clerical staff, practice managers and aspiring leaders, and non-clinical team members working in North East London.
This practical session provides administrative and clerical staff with a clear
understanding of accurate clinical coding and safe documentation in General Practice.
It covers SNOMED CT principles, common coding pitfalls, and the impact of coding
quality on patient safety, population health management, QOF performance, and CQC
outcomes.
What participants will leave with:
• Understanding of why accurate coding is essential for safety and governance
• Improved confidence using SNOMED CT appropriately
• Ability to recognise and avoid common coding and documentation errors
