Job summary
The Mission Practice in Tower Hamlets is looking to appoint a Salaried GP for 4-6 clinical sessions.
This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic committed GP to join our friendly and supportive practice serving the vibrant and diverse people of Bethnal Green for the last 125 years. Known for its whole person health approach, the practice is committed to promoting health and well being through accessible and effective holistic medical care.
The Mission Practice team is a community of skilled and supportive clinicians and non clinicians. We hugely value team working, recognising we have so much to learn from each other. This is reflected in our twice daily huddles, chances to touch base with each other, and our weekly whole team lunches further building team relationships. Our team includes 11 GPs, 2 ACPs, 2 PAs, GPAs, 3 pharmacists, a large nursing team, an OT, first contact physio and a team of social prescriber link workers and a team of primary care chaplains. We run a shared care substance misuse service and are one of few surgeries running in house drug and alcohol clinics. We are looking for an applicant who will help maintain our high standards of clinical care with a strong patient centred focus in a highly supportive environment. We are passionate about education for undergraduates and are a GP training practice and we are admin light with great back office support from our excellent patient advisor team.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work with colleagues to ensure the highest standards of care for all patients, dealing with a wide range of presenting health needs in a general practice setting.
This will be for 4-6 clinical sessions per week and we are open to discussing flexible working
You will have an additional half a session paid protected time for weekly practice and MDT meetings and paid indemnity. You will also join daily huddles with your colleagues with opportunities to discuss cases and referrals as a team.

The Mission Practice provides comprehensive primary care services to 12,000 patients from diverse cultural backgrounds.
The successful candidate will be working alongside our established MDT.
We are a teaching and training practice and support the development and educational needs of our staff members. We seek to develop everyone’s skills so that each of us is working at the top of their abilities, under the supervision of the wider multi disciplinary team so that we are all constantly progressing.
The Mission Practice is part The One Network PCN and works closely with three neighbouring practices.
