Leadership Course for Pharmacy Professionals in GP Practice

North East London ICB are providing leadership training for a second cohort of pharmacy professionals in North East London. The first cohort of community pharmacists have completed the programme and the feedback has been extremely positive. The second cohort is opening up to pharmacy professionals working in a GP practice in North East London ICB. The cost of the course will be fully covered by the ICB. The course will cover:
- Leadership styles
- Leading with care
- Personal drivers
- Sources of power
- Assertiveness and influencing others
- Inspiring a shared purpose
- Team dynamics
- Managing conflict
- Leading a team
- Managing change
The training programme will be delivered over a 3-month period and includes face to face workshops, online workshops and online action learning sets. The course dates are as follows:
- Leadership Day 1 – 27th March 2026, 9.30am – 4pm
- Leadership Day 2 & Facilitated action learning set – 23rd April 2026, 9.30am – 4pm
- Leadership Day 3 – 21st May 2026, 9.30am – 4pm
- Leadership Day 4 & Facilitated action learning set – 2nd June 2026, 9.30am – 4pm
- Leadership in the NHS context – 17th June 2026, 9.30am – 1pm
