Eligibility and selection criteria

The scheme is open to a range of registered healthcare professionals who do not hold senior leadership roles and are eligible to work in the UK.

Qualifications:

• Applicants must hold a primary professional qualification at a minimum 1st or 2:1 level and be fully registered with their regulator.
• Non-medical PH trainees must hold a 1st or 2:1 degree.
• Career Stage – Doctors must have 12 months post registration experience, have completed foundation training and must not hold a CCT.
• Other professionals must have Band 7 equivalent team leader experience and NHS clinical experience.
• Language skills – Applicants must demonstrate effective English communication skills appropriate for clinical and leadership practice.
