NHS Excellence Awards 2026 – NEL Training Hub

Nominations are now open for the NHS Excellence Awards 2026. This is a new national programme designed to recognise, celebrate, and share the innovative work driving improvements across health and care.

Run by and for the NHS, the awards are free to enter and are open to NHS Integrated Care Boards, NHS trusts, primary care providers, local authorities, voluntary and community sector organisations, social enterprises, and other partners working with the NHS to deliver local services in England. These awards highlight the projects and teams that are making a real difference to patients and communities.

There are ten categories, reflecting the range of innovation happening across the system. The same team or project cannot be entered in more than 1 category.
