Widening Access Demonstrator Programme

Barts Heath will be concluding its NHSE funded Widening Access Demonstrator programme which entails the delivery of admin placements across Newham and Whipps Cross hospital for residents local to these sites. 48 participants from Redbridge, Waltham Forest and Newham will be completing their 12 week admin placements which were paid a London living wage payrate.

The programme is looking for employers within the local health economy to support the programme by offering admin jobs where possible for programme completers. The participants are pre-employment trained and have developed invaluable NHS admin experience.
