Become a NEL Pharmacy Career Ambassador

An initiative aimed at raising awareness of the diverse career opportunities within pharmacy for individuals across all age groups, including about the training pathways available. Ambassadors represent NEL Pharmacy and the Pharmacy Profession and not their individual employers or sectors- “One Workforce” approach.

Our collective aim is to inspire and recruit individuals from our local population and to retain talent within North East London-building a strong, diverse, and sustainable pharmacy workforce for the future. Our ambassadors are pharmacy professionals who volunteer their time to attend local events, including career fairs, school forums, and community engagement sessions. They can offer valuable insights into pharmacy as a career, share their personal journeys, and answer questions from attendees.

Designated representatives from the Pharmacy Workforce Group will coordinate and request  ambassadors for upcoming career events. These requests will be communicated via email and, in due course, through the dedicated Teams channel.
