London Next Generation GP Programme

Next Generation GP (NGGP) is a fully funded, competitive national leadership programme designed to inspire, empower, and equip GP trainees and early-career GPs with the confidence and skills to step-forward, lead and shape the future of general practice.

Our programme connects GP trainees and early-career GPs with influential clinicians, thinkers, and healthcare and cross-sector leaders who are shaping the future of NHS primary care.

This year, the London programme takes place through a series of conversations, workshops, and networking opportunities, delivered via remote and face-to-face evening events from February to July 2026.

NGGP has an established track record of national impact over the past eight years. Previous speakers at the London programme have included distinguished figures such as Professor Nick Harding OBE, Dr Nikita Kanani MBE, Professor Bola Owolabi, and Dame Clare Gerada.
