SUMMARY:Our Health Our Knowledge Website Launch Event
DESCRIPTION:Welsh Value in Health Centre\, Royal College of General Practices (RCGPs)\, Realistic Medicine and Academy of Medical Royal Colleges are proud to launch a new health information website – Our Health Our Knowledge \nThe Our Health Our Knowledge (OHOK) online resource has been co-produced by clinicians and patients to support individuals to make healthy choices and engage in their healthcare in an informed way. The learning content has been created to help people understand their own health choices\, what it means to use evidence based approaches and how to navigate the complex and sometimes confusing healthcare system and health information. \nThe OHOK launch event will provide an introduction to the website and how the material was developed and co-designed with patients and is available in English and Welsh. \nThe launch will be held on Teams Live on Friday 7th October 2022 1.00 – 2.00pm and our panel will feature the general practitioners\, academics and members of the public who co-created and endorse the OHOK website. \nThis event will be delivered in English. \nPlease let us know if you would like to access the event through the medium of Welsh – vih@wales.nhs.uk \nOHOK Website Link (English): https://www.ourhealthourknowledge.org/home \nOHOK Website Link (Welsh): https://www.ourhealthourknowledge.org/cy/home
