DESCRIPTION:(Four Day Programme)\n4th\, 5th\, 18th and 19th April 2023 \nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER YOUR PLACE TO THE PROGRAMME\nVenue: Newham College ( Stratford Branch)\, Welfare Road\, E15 4HT \nWe are pleased to announce a new cohort for the Care Certificate programme. This programme is designed for staff in general practice\, community services and social service staff in non-residential care settings. The care certificate programme aims to equip staff with the skills and knowledge needed to provide safe and companionate care. The programme will cover 15 standards including person centered care\, duty of care and infection\, prevention and control. Participants need to attend all four sessions! \nPlease find attached agenda for more information. \nAttendees are required to be assessed in practice by an assessor within 12 weeks following completion of the face to face workshops. Assessors in practice are invited to an assessors training session (28th March 2023\, 12:30-14:00 delivered virtually). This session will cover an introduction to the Care Certificate and provide guidance on how to complete the workbook. \nN.B. Assessors must attend this session unless they have previous experience of Care Certificate training assessment.
