He was the principal researcher in our 3-year study of severe disadvantage which identified the key role of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and in a 2019-21 research project into good Trauma-informed Practice across health\, education\, housing and policing. \nIsobel Dawson has a 1st Class Honours in Psychology and has worked with WAVE for 7+ years as a volunteer\, employee or trustee. She is overseeing projects to assess and embed Trauma-informed Practice in Devon\, Cornwall and Hampshire\, and is experienced in training\, research design and data collection\, having produced an in-house evaluation of a primary child trauma prevention programme.

We hope you’ll find these sessions valuable personally and professionally\, and we’d value your feedback following them.’ \nKath Evans\, Director of Nursing (Children) & Clare Hughes\, Associate Director of Safeguarding\, Barts Health \n********** \nWAVE Trust and trainers \nWAVE Trust has over 25 years’ experience of working in the field of trauma\, and has delivered training on Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and trauma in England\, Northern Ireland\, Scotland and Wales. \nAidan Phillips has co-developed\, delivered and evaluated many of WAVE’s training programmes\, including overseeing recent large-scale training projects involving thousands of participants in Hampshire and Tower Hamlets. He was the principal researcher in our 3-year study of severe disadvantage which identified the key role of adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and in a 2019-21 research project into good Trauma-informed Practice across health\, education\, housing and policing. \nIsobel Dawson has a 1st Class Honours in Psychology and has worked with WAVE for 7+ years as a volunteer\, employee or trustee. She is overseeing projects to assess and embed Trauma-informed Practice in Devon\, Cornwall and Hampshire\, and is experienced in training\, research design and data collection\, having produced an in-house evaluation of a primary child trauma prevention programme.
