SUMMARY:Delivering Compassionate Support to people seeking sanctuary (virtual delivery)
DESCRIPTION:Wednesday 18th October – 10.00-12.00\nMonday 6th November – 14.00-16.00\nTuesday 28th November – 10.00-12.00\nWednesday 13th December – 14.00-16.00 \nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER \nAfter a successful pilot delivery\, The NEL Training Hub is delighted to share new dates for the re-titled and popular two-hour introductory course on Delivering Compassionate Support to people seeking sanctuary. This programme was previously known as the Asylum Welcome Design Lab. \nWe are keen to invite local health and care teams (and wider public sector teams who play a role in supporting) to enhance their awareness and understanding of the challenges encountered by people seeking sanctuary. With new dispersal accommodations opening all around London\, this training will equip staff with the necessary tools and knowledge to support the integration of asylum seekers into the community. The training will be delivered in collaboration with REAP (Refugees in Effective and Active Partnership)\, and the pilot session received plenty of positive feedback. We hope that as many of you as possible can join one of the available dates. \n**Limited numbers apply early. Joining instructions will be sent 48 hours prior to delivery date**
