SUMMARY:Admin & Reception staff: Document Management to improve efficiency (2 hours)
DESCRIPTION:CLICK HERE TO REGISTER  \nOverview: This 2-hour training\, delivered virtually\, aims to help administrators streamline the documents to appropriate team members in a timely manner. Additionally\, a large number of documents are being sent electronically to the workflow emails of the practices\, so admin teams need to be able to interrogate these with a degree of confidence.  \nNOTE training will only be relevant for practices on the EMIS system.  \nGP surgeries regularly receive 10s of documents daily with the larger surgeries receiving 100 or more on a daily basis. These include letters from hospitals\, results of investigations or correspondence from other agencies. In most practices\, GPs spend several hours a day reading these documents and taking appropriate action. This forms a bulk administration time that is spent away from frontline patient care. Often\, the majority of the documents do have clinical information and need a clinician to interpret and action. However\, evidence shows with appropriate training and good practice 30-40% of the documents that could be read and coded by the reception team  \nTraining Provider: Bromley By Health Partnership

SUMMARY:Enhanced Health in Care Homes workshop
DESCRIPTION:We are inviting you to an upcoming webinar on the EHCH framework and DES specification aimed at improving understanding and healthcare for care home residents. The webinar will take place online on Friday 5th July at 1pm. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe enhanced health in care homes (EHCH) framework has been developed by NHSE to provide clarity and consistency in what primary and social care practitioners can expect from working collaboratively to deliver high quality care to patients/residents. \n \nHowever\, recent research by Healthwatch identified significant variations in how the EHCH framework is understood and implemented\, resulting in inconsistencies in the way residents have their healthcare needs met.\n \n\nThe upcoming webinar on the EHCH framework and DES specification is aimed at improving understanding and healthcare for care home residents.\n \nWhy are we doing this? \nTo create a universal understanding of the requirements and enable better working relationships between PCNs and their aligned care homes.\nThe webinar will cover the EHCH principles\, DES requirements\, implementation guidance\, and more. Don’t miss this opportunity to:\n– Explore your role in providing coordinated\, proactive\, person-centred care for residents\n– Share your own experiences on how to effectively collaborate through weekly rounds\, MDTs\, etc.  \n– Have your questions answered by experts\n\n \n\nAttending will help you enable enhanced health in care homes. It aims to improve integration\, collaboration\, and health management for greater resident independence.\n \nThe workshop will also be a launch for the guides and infographic developed by local experts to help understand roles and responsibilities.\n \nWe will also set out our plans for a NEL-wide programme of support and development\, bringing together workforces from PCNs and aligned care homes to develop your own approaches to multi-disciplinary working to deliver on the requirements of the EHCH framework.\n \nThis programme is a joint initiative between NEL ICB\, NEL Training Hub\, Care Providers Voice\, Healtwatch and primary care.\n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nTo register please click here
