DESCRIPTION:Following our introductory People Promise Workshop (General Practice) and the upcoming People Promise Workshop 2 on 30th September\, we are pleased to invite you to register for a series of Learning Sessions focused on embedding the NHS People Promise within General Practice. \nEach session will explore a different theme\, offering practical advice\, tools\, and examples to support you and your teams in creating positive\, inclusive workplace cultures. \nWhether you’re new to this work or already beginning to embed the People Promise\, these sessions offer an opportunity to learn\, gain expert guidance\, and connect with others to share experiences and best practice. \nFurther events will follow in the coming months. \nWho should attend?\nAnyone working in General Practice who wants to contribute to a positive workplace culture and improve staff experience\, including\, but not limited to\, practice managers\, workforce or retention leads.  These sessions may also be of benefit to those in wider roles across primary care. \nHow to register:\nRegistration links for each session are listed below. DESCRIPTION:19th November 2025\, 1pm to 2.30pm \nNEL Training Hub is launching an engagement project to build a clearer picture of training and workforce development needs across General Practice in Barking & Dagenham. Building on insights from the NEL Training Hub TNA survey 2025\, and our stakeholder workshop in July\, we’re inviting practices to join a 90-minute virtual meeting to discuss the learning and development needs of their clinical\, non-clinical\, and managerial staff. \nEach practice will receive a tailored summary report and learning action plan\, which will: \n\nHelp establish the learning needs of individual practice staff and will support the appraisal process at your practice\nProvide you with a summary report of training needs and learning action plan for the practice team\nInform NEL Training Hub future planning and strategy for training and development\n\nPlease contact Nes Yilmaz by emailing neslisan.yilmaz@nhs.net\, to book a 90minute slot on a preferred Friday morning (between Nov 2025–Feb 2026). \nPlease state your preferred date and we will get back to you with available time slots. \nWe look forward to meeting with you and your practice team.
