DESCRIPTION:(CPD FOR GPNS\, NAS\, DIETICIANS\, PARAMEDICS\, PHYSIOTHERAPISTS\, PODIATRISTS AND OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS) \nPlease make sure that you are eligible for this training before starting to fill in the form – you MUST have completed the Travel Health Foundation training to do this course. \nTime of Training: 08:45 – 13:00 \n4 CPD Hours \nRegistration link \n\n\n\nThese courses are fully funded\, therefore please ensure you read the cancellation and DNA policy carefully before booking.\nThese courses are for the following job roles only: \n\nGeneral Practice Nurses (including ANP & ACP)\nNurse Associates\nDieticians\nParamedics\nPhysiotherapists\nPodiatrists\n\nBooking Information  \nTicket sales for all events close 2 weeks prior to the start of the session. \nYou will be asked to sign up to MedTribe if you would like to book a course. You will register once\, and will be able to use the same account to book all future NEL Training Hub events with this account. \nSigning up is completely free and only takes a few seconds. SUMMARY:UEL Workshops - “Assisted dying legislation- what does the public want?”
DESCRIPTION:I am Professor Joanne Harris\, and I am delighted to have joined the University of East London this month as the new Dean of Medicine. In addition to my education role\, I also practice as a GP in London. The University is embarking on an exciting initiative to establish a GMC-accredited MBBS undergraduate School of Medicine at the Stratford campus\, with the first cohort of students set to begin in 2027. As we develop this programme\, we aim to leverage the comprehensive resources of the UEL Health Campus to create enriching learning opportunities for local healthcare providers\, including both medical and Allied Health professionals. \nBuilding on the success of the workshop series as part of the Postgraduate Academy of Health education programme\, previously developed and delivered to our Health Fellows\, we are expanding these offerings to a broader audience. As part of this initiative\, we will be hosting a series of lunchtime webinars covering a range of topics relevant to local healthcare providers. \nThe webinars will be conducted online and will run from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM on Tuesdays\, Wednesdays or Thursdays.
