DESCRIPTION:With lunch provided\, in Leyton\, open to all WF Social Prescribers and Link workers and NEL Social Prescribers. \nIf you are interested in attending this face to face training in Leyton E10\, please email\, Social.prescribing@walthamforest.gov.uk  \nMotivational Interviewing (MI) training helps practitioners/Link workers develop a person-centred approach to counselling\, guiding clients to explore their own motivations for change. It focuses on building rapport\, eliciting change talk\, and supporting clients in their journey toward desired behaviours. MI training typically covers the four core skills: engaging\, focusing\, evoking\, and planning. \nExternal facilitator – Chris Glover \nVenue:  Leyton Orient Football Club\, 5th Floor Meeting Room\, Gaughan Group Stadium\,  Oliver Road\, Leyton E10 5NF.
