SUMMARY:People Promise Workshop (General Practice)
DESCRIPTION:Registration link: https://www.events.england.nhs.uk/events/people-promise-workshop-general-practice \nWe are pleased to invite you to a workshop on implementing the People Promise in General Practice. This workshop aims to introduce and celebrate the People Promise and its significance for the NHS and specifically General Practice.  It will outline what the People Promise is and why is it important to General Practice organisations.  You will hear about the achievements of the People Promise Exemplar programme and how the methodology can be applied in settings across General Practice – with colleagues from Cohort 2 of the programme sharing their journey. \nThe workshop is aimed at those colleagues with responsibility or interest in improving the experience of staff within general practice including\, but not limited to\, practice managers\, workforce or retention leads.  This session may also be of benefit to those in wider roles across primary care. \n  \nWorkshop Details: \nDate: 17 July 2025  \nTime: 12.30 – 13.30  \nChairs:  Dr Russell Hills\, Medical Director Primary Care and System Transformation\, NHS England – East of England Region and Monique Audifferen\, Head of Retention\, NHS England \n  \nAgenda:  \nIntroduction to the People Promise: Understand the core principles and objectives. \nMeet Cohort 2 Colleagues: experiences and insights. \nResources and Links: Access helpful data and signposts for further information. \nThis is the first of two workshops.  This workshop is designed to enhance your understanding and engagement with the People Promise.  The second workshop will focus on the practical tools and methods for implementing the People Promise within your setting. \n  \nWe look forward to your participation and the discussions that will follow.
