DESCRIPTION:CLICK HERE TO REGISTER \nYorkshire Health Partners have been delivering CYP Social Prescribing services since 2021. We have experienced the pitfalls\, success and developed a CYP SP Service Blueprint from inception\, ideas through to full-service development. We developed the service from GP referrals only to including self-referrals\, schools and colleges and Voluntary and Community Groups. \nOur service is data informed; voice of service users and partners\, commissioner engagement and driven by robust and meaningful data analyses. \nAs the Health landscape evolves\, developing prevent\, out of hospital care and locally led partnerships CYP Social Prescribing is a great example of a community service in action. \nWe invite you to join us on the 10th June from 12.30 to 13.30. Bring your lunch\, bring your questions\, and let’s explore together! \nIntroduction \nEstablishing a CYP Social Prescribing team can profoundly enhance the well-being\, development and resilience for children and young people. Early intervention is a proven tool to prevention and mitigates crisis management\, can reduce CAMHs waiting lists and lengthy waits for support where mental health conditions can be exacerbated. \nCYP Social Prescribing employs a holistic approach to address the social\, emotional\, and practical needs of the younger population\, providing them with personalised support and connections to community resources. SUMMARY:UEL Workshops - “Should the NHS be privatised?”  
DESCRIPTION:I am Professor Joanne Harris\, and I am delighted to have joined the University of East London this month as the new Dean of Medicine. In addition to my education role\, I also practice as a GP in London. The University is embarking on an exciting initiative to establish a GMC-accredited MBBS undergraduate School of Medicine at the Stratford campus\, with the first cohort of students set to begin in 2027. As we develop this programme\, we aim to leverage the comprehensive resources of the UEL Health Campus to create enriching learning opportunities for local healthcare providers\, including both medical and Allied Health professionals. \nBuilding on the success of the workshop series as part of the Postgraduate Academy of Health education programme\, previously developed and delivered to our Health Fellows\, we are expanding these offerings to a broader audience. As part of this initiative\, we will be hosting a series of lunchtime webinars covering a range of topics relevant to local healthcare providers. \nThe webinars will be conducted online and will run from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM on Tuesdays\, Wednesdays or Thursdays. Accredited Living Wage Employers choose to pay the rate to directly employed staff\, as well as regularly contracted third-party staff.\n\nYou can find out more about becoming a Living Wage Employer on the Living Wage Foundation’s website and make use of the NHS toolkit for information specific to health employers\, case studies and more.
