DESCRIPTION:Multiple dates\nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER \nsafeTALK: suicide alertness for everyone. safeTALK is a half-day training in suicide alertness. It helps participants recognize a person with thoughts of suicide and connect them with resources who can help them in choosing to live. \nObjectives include: \n– Identify people thinking of suicide\n– overcome barriers to talk about suicide\n– identify reasons we may miss\, dismiss or avoid suicide\n– 4 step model of suicide alertness (Tell\, Ask\, Listen and Keep-safe)\nconnect people at risk with further help \nThere are funded places on this face-to-face course for all workforce across North East London. Places can be booked by external participants at £75pp. If you register for a funded place and do not attend\, a £75 DNA charge will be enforced

SUMMARY:National foundation trainee pharmacist recruitment scheme - London employer drop-in session
DESCRIPTION:We are holding online drop-in sessions to support employers who have registered a foundation training programme in North East London as part of the national foundation trainee pharmacist recruitment scheme\, and to answer any questions they may have.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAs most foundation trainee pharmacists will register as independent prescribers at the end of the 2025-26 foundation training year\, implementing the requirements for the 2025-26 foundation training year includes:\n\n\nproviding trainees with access to a prescribing learning environment and\,\nproviding a Designated Prescribing Practitioner (DPP) during their training.\n\n\nWe are keen to identify employers who have registered programmes for national recruitment where a prescribing learning environment and DPP are yet to be identified. The series of webinars are designed to support immunisers to fulfil the requirement for annual immunisation updates and are free to access. The webinar series has been running since September 2018 and a programme has been designed for 2024 incorporating 10 topics focused on the learning needs of immunisers in primary care.  The monthly webinars will begin in March and run until January 2025 (excluding August 2024). DESCRIPTION:**THIS SESSION IS FOR PRACTICES FROM NEL ICB* ONLY*\n\n\n**THIS SESSION IS FOR PRACTICES FROM NEL ICB* ONLY* \nNEL GP IT Training is offering new starter training for your staff in order to support and induct them when joining your team. \nThe session is designed to demonstrate the basic functionality of the EMIS clinical system that learners will use in their day to day role. \n** We recommend if you are new to EMIS you register for EMIS New User Admin prior to attending this session.** \nDetails of topics covered can found below. \nPlease note eRS referrals will not be covered in this session\, training on this topic can be arranged separately with the GP IT Training team. \nThe following topics will be covered: \n\nlogging onto EMIS Web including Smart Card use\nOverview of EMIS and how to navigate the system\nFind Patient\nAppointment book\nRegistering a new patient\nOverview of the Care Record including how to find data\, print patient summary\nAdding notes into the Care Record\nMedications and medication requests\nTasks (briefly)\nQ&As\n\nAll attendees will receive a certificate at the end of the course to show they have attended a basic skills course. Course timings are slightly flexible depending on the number of learners and learning rate of all attendees.
