DESCRIPTION:A webinar has been organised for Thursday 12 June 2025 (12 noon – 1 pm) to inform providers and commissioners of cervical screening services of significant transformational changes\, updates and reminders within the NHS Cervical Screening Programme. \n\n\nHow to register: NHS Cervical Screening Programme Webinar | NHS England Events\nWe expect the webinar to be of interest to GP practice managers\, PCNs\, cervical screening sample takers (Primary Care/Integrated Sexual Health Services/Defence Medical Services)\, cervical screening laboratory providers\, colposcopy and associated histology providers\, regional commissioners\, ICBs and cancer alliances. \n\n\nThe webinar will cover changes in respect of screening intervals for the 25–49-year cohort\, digitalisation of invitation and result letters\, HPV self-sampling\, the transgender and non-binary opt-in and workforce\, as well as updates from the Cervical Screening Administration Service (CSAS).

As it will be in a webinar format\, you will not be expected to turn on your camera or unmute – unless you would like to – but there is a Q&A function for you to ask questions.\n\n\nTo secure your spot\, please make sure to registerhere\n\nDuring the workshop we will be covering…\n• What the real Living Wage is\n• Reflections from Living Wage Employers in primary care on implementing the real Living Wage\n• The context in London to support local communities to thrive and survive\n• Worker\, business\, patient and public health benefits to paying the real Living Wage\n• Common challenges and solutions\n\nThe real Living Wage is the only UK wage rate based on the cost of living and is currently £12.60 per hour and £13.85 per hour in London. Accredited Living Wage Employers choose to pay the rate to directly employed staff\, as well as regularly contracted third-party staff.\n\nYou can find out more about becoming a Living Wage Employer on the Living Wage Foundation’s website and make use of the NHS toolkit for information specific to health employers\, case studies and more.
