SUMMARY:The ASK Workshop: Assessing for Suicide in Kids (face to face)
DESCRIPTION:Weds 10th July 2024 | Weds 25th Sept 2024 | Thurs 14th November 2024\nTues 21st Jan 2025 | Tues 27th Feb 2025 | Thurs 27 Mar 2025 \nOnly required to attend one day. Various locations \nDo you want to become aware of the ways children at risk of suicide communicate their need for help? Do you want to learn to recognise factors that may increase suicide risk and those that may mitigate it? Do you wish to understand and be able to meet common challenges in working with parents to facilitate safety. Participants of The “ASK” WorkshopTM leave better equipped to reduce the risk of suicide and enlist help for young children \nWe are delighted to offer this face to face delivery of The ASK Workshop. This one day workshop is targeted at staff working with and caring for children age 5 – 15 years of age. Click on the link below to access further information and dates available to book. There are limited FULLY FUNDED places available for staff working across North East London public sector. Book early to avoid disappointment. You will be contacted 7-10 days prior to the course start date with further information regarding this. This is mandatory for participating in the course. The sessions are delivered virtually via Teams over 3 hours. \nAn introduction to Deafness\nExploring social aspects of Deafness including tips and advice when communicating with deaf people\nIntroduction to some basic BSL training\, finger spelling\, general useful signs and phrases\, again linked to settings and requirements \nJoining links will be shared 48 hours prior to delivery dates. SUMMARY:Aspiring Managers in Primary Care
DESCRIPTION:Open to staff working in General Practice in North East London \nNEL Training Hub are pleased to offer this new 6 day programme to new and aspiring Practice and PCN managers. The programme delivered online commences on the 25th Sept\, with final session on 4th December. Each session has a mixture of practical/interactive exercises. All learners on the programme have access to 1:1 coaching input throughout the programme virtually. Learners are strongly encouraged to utilise this as a support network to embed and deepen the learning and to test their own understanding of the theories and approaches covered. \nDay 1 : Health & Safety for Primary Care Managers – Wednesday 25th September 2024 (13:00- 16:30) \nDay 2: Introduction to Practice Finance and Contracts – Wednesday 9th October 2024 (09:30-16:30) \nDay 3: Employment and Contractual Responsibilities – Wednesday 23rd October 2024 (13:00-16:30) \nDay 4: Leading People in Primary Care – Wednesday 6th November 2024 (09:30-16:30) \nDay 5: Road Map for Managing Complaints – Wednesday 20th November 2024 (13:00-16:30) \nDay 6: Introduction to Practice Management – Wednesday 4th December 2024 (09:30-16:30) \nAdditional Deliverable include 1:1 coaching support will be given to embed the learning and consider the learner’s further personal development\, and final feedback report will be provided for each learner by their coach \n\nAll sessions are delivered via Teams\nThe programme is delivered by First Practice Management\nParticipants must attend all 6 sessions\nProgramme valued at £600 per person.
