SUMMARY:NHS Type 2 Diabetes Path to Remission Programme
DESCRIPTION:What is the NHS Type 2 Diabetes Path to Remission Programme? \nThis is a 12 month treatment programme with the aim of achieving diabetes remission. The programme is lifestyle-led health management\, rather than a medication first approach. Followed by 6 weeks of food reintroduction\, tailored to the patient.\nOviva Sustain – 34 weeks of establishing new healthy habits\n\nPatients are guided to use unique digital tools and Oviva learn content to support their journey and can continue to access these once they have completed the programme. \nWhere can I learn more about NHS T2DR? \n\nLinks for NEL lunchtime training webinars planned on 12 July\, 26 July and 9 August are below.\n\n\n\n\n12 July\n12-1pm\nClick here to join the meeting\nMeeting ID: 367 841 312 36 \n \nPasscode: hDuk3U\n\n\n26 July\n1-2pm\nClick here to join the meeting\nMeeting ID: 337 070 191 356\nPasscode: uH5YuX\n\n\n9 August\n1-2pm\nClick here to join the meeting\nMeeting ID: 388 569 637 330\nPasscode: koA2Mf\n\n\n\n\nThe GP Portal is regularly updated with programme resources including information about clinical system searches\, coding\, and updates from Oviva including training webinars and medication adjustments video.\nOviva UK Ltd host a monthly drop-in session on the second Tuesday of the month at 1pm: Click here to join the meeting.
