DESCRIPTION:I am Professor Joanne Harris\, and I am delighted to have joined the University of East London this month as the new Dean of Medicine. In addition to my education role\, I also practice as a GP in London. The University is embarking on an exciting initiative to establish a GMC-accredited MBBS undergraduate School of Medicine at the Stratford campus\, with the first cohort of students set to begin in 2027. As we develop this programme\, we aim to leverage the comprehensive resources of the UEL Health Campus to create enriching learning opportunities for local healthcare providers\, including both medical and Allied Health professionals. \nBuilding on the success of the workshop series as part of the Postgraduate Academy of Health education programme\, previously developed and delivered to our Health Fellows\, we are expanding these offerings to a broader audience. As part of this initiative\, we will be hosting a series of lunchtime webinars covering a range of topics relevant to local healthcare providers. \nThe webinars will be conducted online and will run from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM on Tuesdays\, Wednesdays or Thursdays. DESCRIPTION:Open to staff working across North East London for aspiring and new partners in general practice \nClick on the following link to register: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/nelaspiringpartnership2025 \nNorth East London ICB in partnership with Londonwide LMCs and NEL Training Hub are pleased to offer a suite of Modules to support aspiring partners. \nYou can choose to attend one or more sessions. Staff are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to support personal development. \nThe NEL ICB appreciates it is very busy and General Practice is under significant pressure. However\, we would like to maintain the high level of participation on this programme with low DNA rates\, to enable the maximum number of staff to participate. Previously\, most of the courses were fully subscribed within a short period of time\, you are therefore advised to register early.
