DESCRIPTION:The North East London Training Hub has collaborated with BRAP to offer this exciting workshop to support our Anti-Racism work. This session is open to all General Practice staff across North East London. \n‘Let’s Discuss Race’ (half day virtually delivered) \nWed 20th Nov 0930 – 1230\nTues 3rd Dec 0930 – 1230\nCLICK HERE TO REGISTER \n*Only required to attend one session* \nJoin us for a new workshop: “Let’s Discuss Race.” This interactive session is designed for local Health and Care staff\, where you’ll engage in conversations that foster a deeper understanding of the obstacles that may hinder open discussions about race. At the end of the workshop\, learners would have: \nengaged in discussions that help them to understand some of the barriers that prevent engagement in discussions about race.\nengaged in discussions about race and racism – overcoming the hesitancy and ‘fear’ that can inhibit their understanding and participation.\nmoved beyond discomfort and dealt with resistance and be more able to continue their learning journey. \nFor any queries relating to this programme please contact Layla Abdi layla.abdi@nhs.net
