DESCRIPTION:CLICK HERE TO REGISTER  \nOverview: This 2-hour workshop delivered virtually introduces non clinical reception staff members to various acute health conditions. The training will help receptionists recognise specific symptoms that may indicate a deteriorating patient\, and how they would consider escalating this to a clinician within their service or practice  \nThe workshop will help staff improve knowledge and understanding of:  \n\nthe acutely ill patient on the phone \nthe signs and symptoms of an acutely ill adult \nthe signs and symptoms of an acutely ill child \nrecognising the acutely ill psychiatric patient \n‘serious’ medical conditions and how they present \nwhat the role the non-clinical team have to play in these scenarios \n\nClinical presentations covered would include:  \n\nCommon emergency/urgent symptoms – chest pain\, \nbreathing difficulty\, \nSepsis \nStroke symptoms \nDVT/PE \nfever in children \nPsychiatric emergency \n\nTraining Provider: Bromley By Health Partnership
