HCA – RUSTON STREET CLINIC – TOWER HAMLETS

We are a friendly supportive GP surgery in Bow E3, with about 4,000 registered patients. We are looking for a thorough and enthusiastic Healthcare Assistant with good communication skills to assist the GPs and Practice Nurse in the delivery of excellent care to our patients.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Urinalysis
• Phlebotomy
• ECG Recording
• Wound dressing
• Blood Pressure Monitoring
• Clearing and restocking consulting rooms
• Administering vaccinations e.g. Vitamin B12, Influenza and Pneumococcal
• Undertake new patient health checks and NHS health checks.
• Support the clinicians with the management of chronic disease clinics.
• Calling/texting patients to ask them in for reviews.
• Chronic disease review which may include home visits.

This is a part time position for 6 months. Working hours to be discussed during interview.

NHS pension and on-going training will be provided. Experience working in a GP surgery is preferable, however not essential. We will provide you with

Salary: £ 12.30 – £13 hour per depending on experience.

Hours: 16 hours per week.
